Mike Cipresso

Mike brings diverse experiences to Carbonfuture with expertise in the voluntary carbon markets, a long tenure leading tech business development, and broad financial markets know-how. After completing university at the Wharton School, Mike spent nearly 8 years working in investment banking at Lehman Brothers. After his MBA at UC Berkeley, Mike spent nearly 13 years leading a range of business development teams at Google, culminating in building a Google Pay team to deploy tap’n’pay ticketing solutions for global public transit systems. Mike recently spent over a year managing the carbon finance business of an international NGO in Cambodia, Nexus for Development, where he now serves as a board member. Mike will focus on helping Carbonfuture clients scale their positive climate impact by adding durable carbon removals to their ambitious climate goals.
